Course Overview

Jail staffers encounter an array of inmates every day with different personalities and mental health issues. This online course provides the overview of the Texas Jail Standards Commission Rules, medical guidelines for jail staff, vital signs and how they contribute to overall health, characteristics of several diseases, and health issues, and specialized medical issues and urgency of trauma.


This course meets Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) requirements Course #52002.
