Course Overview
The Forklift Operator Instructor course is designed to develop students skills necessary to train personnel in the proper, safe, and efficient operation of powered industrial trucks. Candidate instructors successfully completing this course will have met all OSHA requirements established through 1910.178 (I) (2) (iii) enabling each to deliver training in forklift operation.

TEEX Certification/Licensing Requirement
The participant must show evidence of completion of the TEEX Forklift Operation (HEP273) course within the last 24 months at least 14 business days prior to the start of class. This prerequisite may be accomplished by uploading a copy of the certificate of completion after registration using the TEEX Student Portal. Once received and approved, the participant will be notified by email they have met all prerequisites and have been added to the class roster.
