Course Overview
CDL110 Entry-Level Driver Training Theory covers an overview of federally required elements necessary for commercial driving. This course consists of classroom portions.
NOTE: This course is eligible for Smart Option Student Loan funding from Sallie Mae.
However, in order to be eligible, you must also register for the following related course:

Course Completion Requirements
Participant Must Provide
a photo identification on the first day of class. See the Participant Handbook for approved forms of identification and additional guidelines.
Attendance Requirements
Class attendance is an essential part of the education process, and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. The course requires participants to attend a minimum of 100% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion.

Discuss basic operations for drivers of commercial vehicles.
Discuss practices for safe operation of a commercial vehicle under various conditions.
Discuss higher-level skills to avoid potential hazards.
Discuss other aspects of operating a commercial vehicle that do not involve physically driving.
