
Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO)
Established in 1998, the TEEX Certified Safety and Health Official® (CSHO) Program serves the needs of industry professionals. Today, it continues today to be identified as a significant safety and health professional designation.
The CSHO Program is comprised of two tracks; Construction and General Industry. All related courses linked to the program are delivered by industry-specific qualified subject matter experts (SME). Each SME is selected based upon their individual field experience. The program covers technical training specific to safety managers, supervisors, and/or directors responsible for successful company safety and health programs.

Required Courses
Select one of the following specialized tracks and review the required courses to obtain a certificate in that track.
Construction Industry
General Industry
Keep track of the courses you have completed towards each track:
Up to 50% of the total required course hours can be satisfied by completing the required courses at any OSHA Training Institute Education Center or at the OSHA Training Institute in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Proof of successful course completion is required.
How to Apply for This Certificate:
Two weeks prior to your final CSHO course, please complete the TEEX CSHO application form. Return the form to TEEX via email: TEEXCSHO@teex.tamu.edu

With this application, include copies of completion certificates for CSHO courses taken at other OSHA Education Centers.

Once your application has been reviewed and approved you will be sent a link so that you may submit electronic payment.
